$250/$500 NL
yesterday i finished $30k down, today something like $150k down, donating about 95% of todays losses to gunman, and 90% of that heads up on $250/$500. i played terribly. he outplayed me all over, i was a complete station, one example is me calling something like $25k on the river with K high into a $18k pot, he had QQ. unfortunately i've lost so much it's unlikely i will get the chance to play $250/$500 again without playing way way out of my bankroll (so i may well do that...). yesterday i lost a $100k pot with 68 against JJ all in on turn on a board of 4568, river was a 4 to make him a higher 2 pair. but i did get very lucky also (playing sincero) so i don't feel too bad about that pot. i don't think i got unlucky today though. his style was awkward to play against and i probably played too many hands. i called so many pot sized bets and 90% of them were bad calls.
anyway, there we go. i'm feeling a little depressed atm but not too bad. i need to not lose the next 2/3 days and then hopefully i will be ok again.

Your my hero mate
Whats your bankroll now? You seem to have lost £90k yesterday and i thought your roll was about 100k?
Scouse
To give you credit, you really dont seem to give a fuck about money which is great for being a top poker player. However your bad bankroll management is excacerbated by your horrible game selection. A month ago you would only take a shot at 25/50 if the line up looked soft now your jumping in heads up games where you have no edge at all.
Game selection is a skill in itself. I dont know if you have followed much of the huge action on full tilt recently but Benyamine has quit playing Antonious short handed PLO when deep stacked. You should seriously consider taking your old approach and looking for games with weak players.
Good luck mate. If you want to talk about game selection/br management a bit more let me know and Ill give you my email adress.

Hey toyzzz not very tactful to ask the guy what his bankroll is after a massive loss is it?
thanks, guys, i've got about £75k left. i was doing quite well before the last couple of days. it has set me back a month and a bit. i agree my game selection has gone completely. i just wanted to play $250/$500 and because it is so high it's heads up, usually against a very good player.
It may have been untactful i agree.
But as scouse has given out his bankroll all through the blog i didn't consider it rude to ask.
Was also concerned that he might be nearly broke.
