down £2k today at first low, then finish first session £4k up. i have a break for a few hours. with a roll of £12.2k i play $25/$50 later on. i'm sitting with just over $3k (im in for $5k). dealt 1010 to me, mafews raises button to $200 and i call in sb, bb folds. flop 747. i check, he bets $300, i make it $900, he then pushes all in and i call. he has AJo. turn is an A. he wins the pot. enter tilt. i then move up to £40/£80 as it's going, (i felt there was value also) and played so unbelievably bad,so bad. just raised every hand, bluffed badly, bet when i knew i was behind. i did about £9700 in there (i.e. all i had left). then i had to take out isa again and lost £4k of it. i tried to re-focus with the isa money and got dealt KK early on. got it all in pre-flop v 66 but a 6 flopped. i had £2400 left after this and put it in. my last hand i had about £2700 odd. shortstack on the cutoff makes it £240. i call with 109ss. kirderf on button makes it £1200. shortstack calls and is all in for about £850ish. i call also. i'm pretty sure he has AK here. flop is K10x 2 spades. he goes all in i call remaining £1500 and he shows JJ (bad read but still have good chance) the shortstack has j10 and the turn and river go blank blank, no spades, and kirderf collects £6k+ pot.
i've got £2k isa left and £1k rent money that i was supposed to pay early to stop me losing it but not so sure about that now - i need the money to rebuild. total done today is £16.2k.
i know i was a complete idiot today guys so please don't tell me so, not that i don't deserve it.

You had 12 thousand pounds yesterday! Now thats not a whole heap of money tbh, but nice chunk to ahve in your roll. Why didint you start playing £2/5NL thats abouy 25 buy ins there. You just jumped into amssive game again with players that are seriously better than you and have over 100buyins for that level.
Can I ask you a question? When you out for dinner to a restaurant or the pub, when you pay for a pint that costs £3 (London, price meh!)do you give them a £50 and dont get change? Because it seriously is worrying the lack of respect you show money, what the hell is wrong with sitting at 2/5 and trying to make what some people make in a week, in a day, i do it and without sounding like a prick, I think I come from a much wealthier background than you. Im happy to make £200+ a day, get your fucking head straight kid. You aint gonna get that £100k back in 1 session against the best of the best, who have unlimited rolls.

As the other guy said, your playing the top boys like mafews with huge bankrolls, it is impossible for you to beat them in them long run with your strategy. IMPOSSIBLE.

hi m8, thats not good but i know how you feel. I'm 21 and i have exactly the same poker mentality as you and its bad i know its bad you know its bad, we are impatient, we want it all we want it now!! Money that is,but when we get it do we enjoy it? well i dont i loose it all back twice as quick.
Its sick, and all my poker friends tell me play lower, stop playing now, don't spend all your cash. I know why they say it, i say it myself but it doesn't work. One reason i figure is because we have no responsibility, i.e kids. I live at home with my parents half the year, other year at my house at uni.
Once i finish uni though i can't carry on this way i will get a job, but there will be no rush, it will be boring, monotomous and slow earning money. Which is why every time i play i tell myself if i win i will stop, if i loose small i stop. But its the same all the time, 1 more, ah 1 more - its called an addicitve personality and its not good lol.
Anyway to try help myself i have stopped my usual games and have taken up the 10 to 10k challenge on pokerpanthers.co.uk. Basically you have to try and turn 10euros into 10k and its about the grind, its about self control, self determination and bankrol management. Hopefully i will learn alot from this, maybe you could try it. If you do let me know we can chat sometime.

Your honesty amazes me scouse. I watched that session you played and couldnt believe how bad you were playing. You just seemed to be on a self-destruction type of play. There was soon a waiting list to get on your table which didnt surprise me one bit. In fact if i had the balls i would have sat down for a chunk but i dont touch those stakes no matter how tempted. From what i witnessed you should stop playing right now and get help. It doesnt matter what sort of other sessions you have had u cannot afford to play like that for any sessions (especially at the highest stakes available). Part of the modern day poker pro in my opinion is not going broke, we all read everyones gone broke at some time in their career. This is not true of modern online pros (including myself) that realise the value of money and how bankroll management is probably a more important skill than the poker itself. I think you will find money from somewhere very soon as you probably get a rush from all the hits this blog gets now and dont want to disappoint the people reading it. I know you wont listen, but get out now while your head is still above water.

Sorry, that's utter crap. There's no warning light that shows when to cash out because you're about to get your hand cracked and lose your chips. That's why you need a strategy and allows you to survive your bad beats and the times your monster runs into a bigger monster.
If you think sitting down with your last £2k and hoping to get lucky is 'spinning it up' then you've learnt nothing, and you need to stop.
The people encouraging you are idiots and you'd be a fool to listen.

If you go to GA (which I agree you should) they'll just convince you not to play anymore. This is obv for the best but if you can stick to 1-2nl and 20-30 buy-ins then there wouldnt be a problem.

you should be able to make £1500 a week playing 1/2 pretty tight.
doing that should build you bankroll back up.
I think you need to forget about the higher limits completely at the moment, maybe once you have a 5 figure bankroll you can move up limits.
but just grind it out dude, thats my advice. gl
