STILL HAVEN'T PLAYED
haven't been motivated to play, but the plan remains the same as last post. i reckon i'll play sometime this week but no guarantees. i've sorted out a new littlewoods account but kept same betfair one as it's fairly unknown. sorry for not posting anything interesting, but best to update nothing than to not update at all?

To be honest I would consider just taking half of the 90K you have stashed away and going for something big. Think about it, all you need to do is double it up twice and you will have enough for a house, with some spare change left over and if all goes wrong you still have 45K in the bank!
I just don't think you will ever get anywhere withdrawing £500 here and £500 there. Then you might get frustrated and blow the whole thing. Better to keep yourself level with some decent action now.
I don't think this is good advice, in fact I think you should probably put the bulk of the 90k somewhere it is timelocked so that you can't do this.
If you can stick to your 'bankroll plan' or a version of it then you will be making a lot of progress. It is definitely possible for you to spin up large amounts as you have shown, much easier than it is for you to only put x% of whatever money is in your account on the table.
cian aka holein2?
lol my roll is bigger than yours now ;)
All the best Ed.
Good luck man....
I find someone else to compete with the excitement of your blog.....

if i take some out cian the rest will follow unless it's just £500 as this is what was previously agreed. i would love to use it as roll but i'd probably lose it first day at £100/£200. rebuilding now (rather than putting savings back into my roll) is the only thing that means i have something to show from the game.
thumbs up to one of the funniest and coolest blogs around ! I do not care if it is true or not, it's just borderline and nice story telling.
Forget 88% ,Ed is 100 % the real deal.Keep to your plan Ed.Good luck at the tables.
i like what you did there acorn ;-)
Hi Ed
I like your new plan, hope it goes well, if you do it a few times and run like you have then cash out 90K you will have the cake. ;o) GL
Great blog mate, I admit that I've kind of stolen the template for my own. Although I'm mostly writing it just for myself so that I can see how far I go.
Hope you start posting again soon, it gives me something to read whilst being bored off of my tits at work.
Ed, please hurry up and play some more because it too gives me something to read when bored at work, theres a lot of bored hours to fill, get playing!
nice blog!...
i added u to my link!
link me up too
Ed,
I may be a little dim, but when did you win the 90K? I can't find the entries?

Need an update....doesn't have to be exciting.
Ed, can you give me some advise on what you do when you are in "rebuild" mode. If you had, say £150 what would you play? HU? Full ring? would you have it all at 1 table or multi-table? Which site(s) are best for re-building. Roughly how many flops are you seeing - 50%? 100% :-)
Also, you sometimes say you spot a fish and have to sit down at that table - what marks them as a fish to you?
I'm just bored grinding away, want to take a shot and it doesn't matter if I lose.
Ed,
you got your sen a mention in this months "Inside Poker" magazine.
sorry for not updating guys, the 90k is the £50k i took out a few weeks back plus 25% of winning days since then.
simon, if i had £150, then probably i would play £1/£2 and minimum buyin (if i lose rebuy there until i am broke probably or maybe i could stop for the day and leave some for tomorrow) and cash out when the fish left. i would likely just play one table. i've never considered hu my strongest game until very recently so it wud be a ring game probably. i use crypto because i know who alot of the fish are. location can also be a factor. anyone from denmark, finland, norway or sweden are likely to be good, quite possibly pros at £1/£2 and above. people from london are generally worse than the average player. (there are of course many execptions to this). if there is a table full of brits it is worth looking at, there will probably be 2 or more fish on that table. whatever happens, i will watch the table before i play, anything like not waiting for bb, min raising pre (or alot of min raising post). betting weakly into pots. i'm sure most of that is stuff you already know but just incase =). also, quite a simple one is whether or not the player is short stacked. often the worst players at the table are the ones who minimum buyin (like me), any person with a series of digits after their name also are usually fish.
when i used to rebuild i would play much tighter poker. but the last time i played much looser but it did take me awhile to finally get on my run, since you're not in a rush then i would play tight, it should give you a little less variance which is kinda crucial, although you should try and play alot of pots with the fish/es at the table. when you sit, try and have position on the fish because of the reason before. it's important to understand their game as soon as possible since you will play many pots with them & they will probably not adapt to the game.
of course, these are only guidelines. if it relies a little too much on luck you could start at £0.50/£1.
