DEPRESSED
put £10k borrowed money back in and spun it upto £44k on $100/$200 in the morning/afternoon. withdrew the £10k leaving my £34k bankroll. in the evening i played $250/$500 and lost it all. lots of small pots where i was behind, 35/65ish, and then a $60k pot to finish when i pushed with A10 v AQ on a QJ8 board and missed wide. after doing (running) so well this morning i feel very deflated about this latest loss. i can't hold a roll at all. as soon as i have some money i seem to lose any game selection or if i go on a soft table and it gets harder i still don't leave till i'm even.

Ed,
Caught the tail end of ur afternoon session and ur last hand pocket 9's hitting a set on flop and house on turn, and taking down a nice pot, good basic play which reaped its rewards.
Later I was railing Bloeffer when u sat down at the $250/$500 with $10K. Your first hand, all in after the flop with A3 on a missed flop getting called by Bloeffer with his AK was hardly solid poker. Some of your other all in pushes,(bluffs or semi-bluffs),just smelt of desperation. Yet the one hand you actually hit the flop with, 92 on a 922 flop, you proceed to check it down for a win of just over $4K. So all in all hardly solid poker, just desperation poker. I think you should have joined one of the $100/$200 tables that was going at the time, same players, but as everyone will tell you, you aint rolled for that either. These players at those levels are sharks, and you were just their bait with your roll blown in less than 30 mins.
I'm afraid to say it really was terrible poker you played, you really need to plug the gaps in your game and choose better opportunities to bluff.
Anyway Ed, good luck at the tables in the future, but think 'lower limits', and those other awefull 3 little words you had hate to hear, bank roll management !
last few sessions you've spun your roll up significantly then blown it all in 30mins of madness. I notice a pattern here ed. What can YOU do to address that? if you figure that out YOURSELF maybe you'll succeed, or at least get a little more play out your BR.

I railed quite a lot of those games, stay away from them dude u are up against Sagstrom & prob other top pros they are not soft games!
With a $40k roll u could do ok at $1000 nl, get it in perspective m8, £500 is still a hell of a lot of money to have in a poker game.
I've seen a buddy go thru all your emotions & more he goes to Gamblers Anon every week, if you feel that bad maybe go along there.
Gl either way m8.
People don't go to GA until they've lost it all. Not that Ed has that far to go to go if he can blow through £34k in one evening! That's 2 years worth of wages from the job he'll be doing in a couple of years time. Only when he has a job will he truly have any perspective on the value of money and what he's doing right now.
Ed you clearly have a major tilt problem. You came back for that second session a different player - basically you'd lost it!
What was really infuriating was that there was a seat open the whole time at the $100/$200 table where there were five other players. Okay, Bloeffer and Erick1234 were there, but the three other players were unknown and you might have stood a chance against them.
Playing short stacked against Bloeffer and Operation (Ram Vaswani) you have no chance at all. Bloeffer knows you inside-and-out, and Ram is one of the best players in the world. And the pressure from the blinds was just so great, especially since it was short-handed, that you couldn't wait for a hand and ended up playing it like you were short-stacked in a one dollar sit-and-go.
Why didn't you go to $100/$200? Sure you like to play high, but surely you'd rather win money at one level from the top, than get slaughtered at the top?
loon.
advice 1 - you can't win every raised pot.
advice 2 - you can't play high variance poker with 2/3 buy ins.
advice 3 - think better, i know you're image gets you paid when you have it but they know it's coming back to them anyway. Make it tough for them to win it back.
patience! you TWAT! - noone ever got rich playing with like 20 bbs. You're a complete idiot. I'm not telling you to adopt BRM coz you're not a poker player - you're just a gambler (and that's why i read this blog) - but surely it's enough of a gamble to you to sit 100bbs deep at the 25/50 and the 50/100 - you'll still have the fun of going broke, you might just have a little more time before you lose your house at those stakes
gl mate - make sure you have some sports betting money left for the Gold Cup and the Grand National - only way you'll be winning - hahahahahahahahahahaha
hang in there - you gotz skillz
add the management aspect and you're in like flinn.
"i can't hold a roll at all"
Ed, does that really come as a surprise to you?

Luckyjim is half right; bloeffer knows your game but Ram Vaswani is a total fish at cash and has done his bollocks more times than you have Ed. It is well known amongst high stakes players that Vaswani cannot put a hand down.
Apart from that, why are you playing at all? You win serious amounts and don't even buy a packet of wine gums with the money before donating it all back.
The end is near, my son, and the gutter is where this will all end if you don't wise up real soon.
Good luck - but you are your own worst enemy.
am i the only one that dont believe you?
^^ fed up of people like this, FUCKIN WATCH HIM PLAY! tit
yer - sorry - means to say - ed, you're clearly a genious - you just run bad! - hahahahahashahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahahaaha
Keep your head up ED. you will get it back and then some. I've never watch you play but sounds fun.
